Caixaforum Lleida

Modernist building from 1920

CaixaForum Lleida is a cultural space open to all citizens, with a regular program of exhibitions, conferences, debates, screenings, educational activities and workshops. A center for all audiences that promotes integration, dialogue, knowledge and education.

CaixaForum Lleida today occupies the modernist building of the old Viñes cinema, a building by the architect Francesc de Paula Morera Gatell, from 1920, which was one of the first cinemas in the city located in the historic centre. In 1990 it became the Cultural Center of the "la Caixa" Foundation and in 2008, CaixaForum Lleida.

Schedule
  • From Monday to Friday: from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • Saturdays. from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • Sundays and public holidays: from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

  • Free general admission
  • Facilities adapted for renting spaces.
  • Closed in August.
  • Closed on December 25th, January 1st and 6th.
