Fruits and Calçots Andreu

Fruites Andreu is located in the Malgovern area and to get there, in the spring, we pass through fields of flowering pear trees. It is a fruit and vegetable exploitation at Finca San Ignacio, originally from Fruites Aragonés, and which is also dedicated to the fattening of calves.

Andreu Aragonés, the owner, together with Laia Segura, his wife, are available all year round to offer guided tours with tastings. According to the different periods, they offer visits in the middle of the flowering fruit trees, fruit harvest, calçots harvest, calçotadas...

Andreu is an experienced producer and rancher who grew up on his family's farm and ranch in Horta de Lleida. For him, his value proposition is the differential quality of the fruit he grows, since they work with the sweetest and most resistant varieties. They have 14 hectares of fruit trees and up to 31 varieties, with different flowering and harvest times, key pieces in their offer.

With a strong sense of belonging and passion, Fruites Andreu sell at the Mercat del Camps d'Esports on Thursday, the Mercat de Barris Nord on Saturday and in the town of Torrefarrera on Sunday. They also do proximity sales at the foot of the farm and via Whatsapp, to pick up there. And on Friday, Saturday and Monday afternoon, they bring the products to your home!
