Hortivalls

A family farm that already has three generations of farming. It is a unique farm for its cultivation of minority vegetables, especially the Lleida strawberry and a range of vegetables for the Maghreb and Brazilian community of Lleida. It consists of the residence of Pep Valls and his family, the surrounding vegetable fields, greenhouses and a space where Pep has a very large collection of old agricultural machinery. However, he is a very active person as a farmer in Horta de Lleida in all kinds of festivities and events related to Horta and the city of Lleida in general.

The Horta de Lleida's strawberry is small and delicate, and for this reason very much appreciated. Farmers stopped cultivating it because it is soon damaged, but its taste means that we still find it in some orchards, like Pep's. Its products can be found in local shops and local online sales platforms. On Mondays and Thursdays his stall can be found in the central market. They also do home delivery.
