Escape to Huerta de Lleida
Located between the city and the UdL’s agronomy campus, increasingly integrated into the neighbourhood of Ciutat Jardí, there is the Arboretum. A special urban park designed to reveal one of the most important and unknown treasures of our environment: the trees.
They are distributed across a seven-hectare space divided into the four great representative arboreal biomes of our planet: coniferous forests, deciduous forests, sclerophyllous woodlands and temperate rainforests.
Associated with the Science and Technology Park, the Dr. Pius Quer i Font Arboretum, is also a site for forest research.
Schedule
- Open from Tuesday to Sunday
- From November to March: from 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m
- From April to October: from 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. and from 4.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m.
- The Arboretum closes on: January 1, January 6, May 1 and December 25.
- Access to the site is allowed up to 45 minutes before closing time
Prices
- General: €2 per person
- Reduced: €1 per person
- People from 12 to 16 years old
- Groups formed by a minimum of 10 people, with prior reservation
- People who have the Emocity card
- People in possession of the large family card
- People in possession of the single-parent family card
- Students
- Free entrance:
- Children under 12 accompanied by a responsible adult
- People from 65 years of age
- Friends, partners of the Arboretum
- Unemployed people
- Regular teaching teachers if they accompany a group of students
- People with disabilities and their companions
- Members of any scientific organization, friends and members of a botanical garden or similar
- In cases of reduced and free entry, the required condition must be proven.
