The Tòfol footbridge takes us back to a time in history when the two sides of the city could only be accessed by boat due to the scarcity of bridges over the Segre. This viaduct now serves as an homage to life in Horta de Lleida, allowing us to appreciate the city's landscape value and observe the river birds which characterise it.
At this point, we can contemplate the river in its wildest habitat and view the Seu Vella from a less common angle. Grey herons often get some fresh air on the banks of the river, which in this spot begins to flow a bit more openly and dynamically.
The footbridge, which joins the Rufea's road and the Albatàrrec's way, is located near the Camí del riu Segre and gives access to Tòfol's Xoperal.
