The commercial and service offer of the city of Lleida is characterized by being diverse, modern and of high quality.
The uniqueness of its axes and open-air commercial areas offer the visitor a special experience, either through the combination of local trade with international brands, or through the discovery of impressive shops with medieval archaeological remains or located inside historical buildings.
The main shopping zone of the city is located along the commercial axis, of about 3.5 km long and with more than 450 shops. A pleasant walk that starts on Alcalde Costa street, passing along Saint Antoni street, continuing through the Major street and Saint James square, Carme street, Magdalena street, and finish on Pi i Margall street. It is also one of the most emblematic district of the city, as it is located in the middle of Lleida historical center. Here retails coexists with monumental and cultural heritage, a fact that generates added value to the commercial activity.
A second important commercial area is the Zona Alta (High Zone) with its central point in Ricard Vinyes square. A space exclusive to pedestrians and which, at the same time, becomes a meeting place for the people of Lleida. It attracts visitors especially because of the concentration of restaurants and night leisure.
