Description

The Remei Castle estate perfectly harmonizes the wine's secrets with nature, art and good taste for the catalan gastronomy. Discover one of the wineries with most history in Lleida in a unique wine tourism experience. 

It is the first Catalan winery built according to the Bordeaux style, and it is the fifth oldest brand in Spain according to the Register of Patents and Brands, being the first to produce aging wines. In addition, it is part of the 4th stage (Tàrrega-Linyola) of the so-called Camí Català, through San Juan de la Peña, of the pilgrimage route of the Camí de Sant Jaume.

The historic winery can be visited on a guided tour, but the natural surroundings, unique and beautiful, can be discovered through a self-guided itinerary that the owners make available to all those who wish to enjoy Lleida.

  • The wine shop where you can buy the wines of the 4 wineries of the group: Castell del Remei, Tomàs Cusiné, Cérvoles Celler, and Cara Nord
  • The restaurant a la carte and menu based on traditional Catalan cuisine
  • The Lucilla Atilia exhibition hall with temporary programming of authors from various artistic disciplines: drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, ceramics...
  • The Sanctuary of the Virgin of Remei, a showcase of Italian classicism, and which contains fascinating wall paintings by the artist Josep Obiols Palau

Observations

  • The winery can be visited only on a guided tour and reservations should be made in advance.
