Description
Secret Lleida is a tour designed by Turisme de Lleida to show visitors Roman and Medieval traces in the city.
Remains of walls or even the city’s Medieval prison that have survived the passage of time in forgotten corners: secret spaces that await to be discovered by those who want to get to know Lleida through its archaeological remains.
The route is formed by the visit to three attractions:
- A visit to the archaeological site at the Palau de la Paeria that reveals the remains of a building dating back to Roman times where numerous objects from the 5th century AD were discovered.
- The remains of a Roman domus located in the basement of the Enric Granados Municipal Auditorium
- The remains of the city walls from both the Arab (9th and 10th centuries) and feudal (12th-14th centuries) periods located in No. 47 Anselm Clavé Street.
